It's a setback. But thats all. It does hurt the chance of Super Mario sunshine coming to VC if Gamecube VC becomes a thing.

WTF is an analog trigger?

It's pressure sensitive, think of when you press a gas pedal...the harder you press the faster you go. You can't do that with Wii-U triggers.

Really? Thats hard to even imagine not having, why did they take it out?

You do realize he means L and R. Not the sticks. Right?

I agree. The problem started with the classic controller on the wii, continued from there. I have no idea what they were thinking.

The L and R buttons on the classic controller are like the Gamecube's triggers - they aren't analog, but they can tell if you're pressing the button partially or all the way down.

Lack of usb 3.0 makes me question if nintendo knows what they're doing

Wiiu is supposed to last until 2018, usb 3.0 is going to be standard in all devices by 2014. Imagine Jimmy buying a new hdd and finding out it runs at half the speed connected to wiiu.

Ps4 and xone are going to stomp wiiu in digital game load times

They are going to stomp the Wii U when it comes to digital gaming in general. At the moment it only makes sense for first party games, and even then you need a deluxe console.

I think the lack of analogue triggers was a mistake, but the lack of an HDD is a bigger one. Nintendo is going to lose out on a lot of open world games this gen, especially once devs start focusing more on the PS4 and Xbone.

Jimmy is impatient, he's not afraid to throw a history fit or commit terrorist acts if he doesn't get his way

We were also supposed to get flying cars by the year 2000 but it didn't pan out.
