DS/3DS games on Wii U. Please tell me this is happening.

If this isn't happening..I don't even know what Nintendo is doing anymore. It would be perfect with the controller with the screen in it. Is there any news of this coming or even so much as a rumor?

well 192P would be on the controller wouldn't it..and 240p would be the top screen for the 3DS? that is pretty low resolution yeah..but how bad would it look really? Wasn't the nes around that resolution natively?

192p = DS resolution on both screens

240p = 3DS resolution on both screens

wasn't the NES 8-bit? wasn't the NES 2D?

Can you only talk to people in a condescending manner?
Does it really matter? Plenty of games on DS and 3DS are 2D anyways. So what if they're 3D though. And what do you even mean by 8-bit? I don't think you even know what you mean by that.

The games would look crappy on a TV, but that never stopped them with GB/GBA games.

Well I would probably disagree but apparently everyone on this board is convinced of this.

Well a lot of that has to do with the TV you use.
So much of the GB and GBA depend on using the same screen for display. When the display is a wildcard, things get muddy. GBA games, for example are all progressive scan. Gamecubes capable of progressive scan were rare, the cables you needed to enable it were even more rare. This left you with some pretty nasty screen tearing as you screen tried to display it interlaced, and it would look even worse if you had tv that couldn't display 480i native and had to upscale it.
