Instead of going Microsoft or Sony, I think Nintendo would try and convince an electronics company to jump into the console business and Nintendo would throw their full support behind it. Someone like Samsung.

They would favor the Sony brand.

Japan favors Japan.

*facepalm*

Does anyone get the point of a HYPOTHETICAL SCENARIO?

I mean really, anyone?

And Sony.

I'd think PlayStation over Xbox given the Xbox One fiasco; they'd need to know what the console they're developing for is going to be before they develop for it. I doubt they'd go third-party, but PS4 seems more likely.

If they went third party they wouldn't favor any company. They would sell it everywhere and plan on maximixzing their profits from it.

As most 3rd party devs do.

Sony obviously. For one thing it's another Japanese company. For another, Nintendo's strength lies in handhelds, and Microsoft doesn't have a handheld while Sony does.
I'm not a gamer, I'm a Nintendrone. Here's proof I live to serve Nintendo:

Hey, as a Nintendrone, you should say
"It's obvious Nintendo will buy both."

They'd most likely be acquired by Nintendo but Microsoft could be a candidate as well.

So, if they go third party, they're going to buy themselves?(hope it's a typo...)
Do you judge games by graphics and not gameplay?Only like realistic games?

Disney should just buy Nintendo since they own everything else. Then we could finally see Nintendo themed rides
