1. The Gamepad helps a good deal, it adds a few tricks to games that use it, and is convienient for when my family uses the TV.
2. One game, Nintendo Land. Despite what some people say the game shows what the Wii U is about. I use the Gamepad my Brothers use the Wii-motes. Depending on which you use you get a different experience.
3. Dropping the controller would've dropped the price. But without that Nintendo would really have no drawing point. It would be underpowered, with nothing different. The Gamepad, gimmick or not, does give me a diffirent experience from other consoles. --- I'm a Nintendo loyalist, respect Sony and Microsoft.
