What Wii U games out run at 1080p?

I see comments on how games run at only 720p I thought this was a 1080p system.

Out Run isn't on the Wii U, sadly.

Rayman Legends, Pikmin 3, don't know what else. It's confirmed that both Smash and Mario Kart will run at 1080p 60fps.

Had a Street Fighter signature for four years, but Crapcom doesn't deserve such recognition anymore.

At least they're running at 720p natively, and not being upscaled to it.

I thought pikmin 3 and w101 run at 1080p? Upscaled from 720p

Of course upscaled to 1080p. I'm talking about running at a minimum 720p natively, and not lower just to become upscaled to 720p.

I mean games that are out right now.

Pikmin 3 and W101 do not render at 1080p. And based on the screenshots, the new MK doesn't render at anything close to 1080p either.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say here. Are you implying that x360/PS3 games don't render at 720p? Because while there are some games that render below 720p on those systems, the large majority are indeed 720p with some rendering at resolutions well beyond that - all the way up to 1080p in some cases.

Should have made mention of that in your OP.

Why must you bring up the PS3 and 360 here? This is the Wii U board. Go elsewhere with that.
