No. If anything, I think right now they are realizing how badly they need development studios.

Anything is possible. Sonic and Mario on the same console? No one thought that was ever going to happen either. We just can't know. Things change.

In the near future? Hell no.

If they go all SEGA on us, maybe. So not for another 10 years at least.

The situation is different. Nintendo didn't own enough of Rare for them to even be considered first party, they were just selling what percentage of the company they did have to the one who got it, while they own pretty much all of Monolith Soft.
I'm not a gamer, I'm a Nintendrone. Here's proof I live to serve Nintendo:

No. Nintendo isn't that stupid. They already said that they're low on resources as it is. Why the hell would they sell their studios? Plus keep in mind that nintendo never wholly owned rare. They only had 49% Nintendo wholly owns monolith soft. And they've never sold a first party studio before. So no, this won't happen.

After the bulk of Monolith Soft moved to Kyoto in order to be closer to Nintendo, I find it unlikely.
Had a Street Fighter signature for four years, but Crapcom doesn't deserve such recognition anymore.

This so much.

Should they? Well, obviously not, but who knows.
