Famitsu said 6,663, which is pretty decent for a niche title like W101.

No. No it isn't.

These are horrid sales, coming from someone that wanted this to succeed.

OK but we're talking about Japanese numbers.

5,000 is the US/English translation.

But the Japanese count in yen.

So if you convert 5,000 to yen then that's 488450.00 Japanese copies sold.

So not as bad as it seems. See?

This is, with no exaggeration, one of the biggest bombas in gaming history.

There's the Media Create site with links to each week of their sales charts.

Find me a game with the budget of Wonderful 101 (Platinums biggest budget ever) on a system starving for games that has sold less in its release week.

The new releases are real easy to tell because they're in bold letters with the big NEW! next to them.

Go ahead.

Or I can save you the trouble and tell you you won't find any.

Mega bomba of all time epic proportions. Below even the lowest of expectations.

Kamiya: “For foreign gamers, games that sell and don’t sell tend to be a hot topic… I wonder why they care so much about sales that it makes them choose what to play. It may be because (sales) numbers are the most obvious way to evaluate a game, and reviews seem to be another… I think that rather than borrowing some numbers to judge the quality of a game, you should decide by yourself.”

Hmmm...

I can tell by your knee-jerk response that you're a little slow in the cognitive department, so I'll just keep this sweet and simple.

You can slobber over the first week, I'll show some restraint and watch how it plays out.

And before you jump into the 1st week safety net you set up for yourself, please understand this...

so much discrimination in this topic, as if Japanese gamers buy X games and American gamers buy Y games

Newsflash: people make or play whatever game they goddamn feel like making or playing, nothing else really matters
