Easily, WW HD is like 2 GB's or something, i really doubt it has anything that couldn't run on the Ps3

Seriously? Yes, of course.

Are you willing to bet your life on it?

There are both open-world and cel-shaded games that look better on the older systems, so yes, that would be a pretty safe bet.

Wind Waker runs at 1080p.

It applies anti-aliasing on top of that.

It may run at 60fps; some sources have claimed that it does, but it's not officially confirmed.

The entire ocean is loaded into RAM at once.

No chance of running on the PS3 or 360 without lowering the resolution to sub-720p levels, ditching the AA, and adding loading points to the ocean.

That's to say nothing of the quality of the lighting effects and shaders, which may or may not be more advanced than what those systems can do.

That's not really relevant. The 360 and PS3 could both run an upscaled Gamecube game with lots of bloom in 60fps and 1080p, much like the Wii U can.

Meanwhile, actual current-gen open-world games like RDR, Skyrim, and Far Cry 3 do much more graphically than anything going on in WWHD. And games like Tales of Vesperia, Valkyria Chronicles, Eternal Sonata, El-Shaddai, and arguably even Okami HD are better looking cel-shaded games.

You do realize that it's more than just a gamecube game?

WWHD is a remake down to the very definition of the word. It's not "just" a HD port. GOW Collection is "just" a HD port that runs at 720p, ICO & Shadow of Collossus Collection is"just" a HD port that runs at 720p, Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 is "just" a HD port that runs at 720p. So no PS3 can't run WWHD without gimping it.
