All they've done is change the lighting and bump up its resolution to run on modern TV's, and maybe touch up a few textures here and there. It's dishonest for Nintendo to call it a remake when it's really just a re-issue. They haven't significantly updated either the gameplay or the tech. If they had remade the entire thing in Unreal Engine 3 (just throwing out an example here) then that would legitimately be a remake.

Because they want to charge more for it.

They redid everything but the actual code, IIRC.

People who say Nintendo games are for kids need to grow up themselves.

The assets are clearly revamped.

Also, an HD remake, (which is what they've been saying), generally implies it's the same game with better graphics, which it is.

Still waiting for Diddy Kong Racing 2

The original game still looks good today. If they did "rebuild" it, it kind of feels like wasted effort since it would only grant a minimal increase compared to rebuilding non-cel shaded titles. At any rate, what they're presenting isn't worth that much above the standard price for such things.

The title of the game is "The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD," not "The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD remake."

Yeah because Resident Evil on Gamecube was called Resident Evil Remake.

And TC, its a remake. Mostly if not everything is changed or updated or added.
