Should Nintendo follow Sony's example...

With actually asking third parties developers what they want? Maybe the Wii U wouldn't be doing so bad if Nintendo hadn't made a console with only themselves in mind. I agree with Bethesda.

You ignored the fact that much of the alterations done to the Wii U were at the request of 3rd-party developers. They were listening. Bethesda is lying, especially when they spoke of another company (Gearbox) who said the exact opposite of what Bethesda implied.

Many more dev studios will close

Even if Nintendo did that, third parties wouldn't touch the Wii U. Too risky.

My sig will never happen, but it would be awesome if it did.

Yes. Sonys third party support is leagues better than the awful support the Wii U is getting.

Is all about the console sales, don´t tell me the Vita 3rd party support is also leagues better than the 3DS...

Most developers start to put games where people buy them.....

Praise THIRD PARTIES;
all my Nintendo hating brethren, praise their brilliant business practices.
Praise THIRD PARTIES,
and forget not all their benefits—
who forgive all your refusal to pay
and heal all your gameplay needs,
who redeem your gaming habits from trying something different,
and crown you with day one DLC and saturation of M-rated experiences,
who satisfy your desires with good things
so that your annual subscription is renewed and your DRM contract is enforced.
The THIRD PARTIES work righteousness
and justice for all the hardcore gaming community.
They made known their ways to SONY and Microsoft,
their deeds to the gamers of today:
The THIRD PARTIES are compassionate and gracious,
slow to anger, abounding in love.
They will not always accuse,
nor will they harbor their anger forever;
They will spread to whichever console allows them to charge the most
or repay us according to our credit limit,
For as high as the executives are above the developer paycheck,
so great is their love for publishers who keep inflating budgets;
as far as the casual is from the hardcore,
so far have they have added microtransactions to mobile and console gaming.
As a father has compassion on his children,
so the THIRD PARTIES have compassion on those who keep charging for proprietary engines;
for they know how marketing has affected our views,
they remember that we want graphics, blood, gore, and escapism.
The life of pumping out yearly sequels is like grass,
it flourishes like a flower of the field;
the wind blows over it and it is gone,
and gamers, after a year, remember no more.
But from everlasting to everlasting
the THIRD PARTIES' love is with those who defend their business practices and debt levels,
and their rightgeousness with their children’s parents and their credit cards—
with those who keep asking for more online and less single player
and remember to pay their online multiplayer subscriptions.
The THIRD PARTIES have established their throne in the video game industry,
and their kingdom rules over all.
Praise the THIRD PARTIES, you "mature gamers",
you mighty ones who keep buying the same "realistic" game over and over,
who obey their marketing propaganda.
Praise the THIRD PARTIES, all their bribed reviewers,
you their servants who do their game reviews.
Praise the THIRD PARTIES, all their analysts and critics
everywhere in the video game industry.
Praise the THIRD PARTIES.
