You might remember that recently Nintendo started construction on a new building.

Well, looks like Sony is getting in on the act.

There was much speculation about the companies financial situation when they recently sold off a building. Looks like the reasoning behind it are a mystery no longer.

Can we expect fiercer competition between the two console giants, now that they are investing in more room to work?

Can Sony pick up a talent advantage by locating Playstation in Silicon Valley?

Will Nintendo's HQ be ready quick enough to mobilize against this possible advantage?

So if they suffer major losses from the PS4 launch, what are they going to sell to make up for it?

Actually, Sony sold TWO buildings - their headquarters in America, which they are apparently replacing, AND their world headquarters in Japan, which they sold first, with no word on any sort of replacement.
Gaming is like a pair of boobs - Sony and Microsoft fight over whos boobs look more realistic, while Nintendo is about having fun with them - Walkiethrougie

Its funny that the building in japan was their most prized asset and was only completed a short time before selling it. They have a 6 year lease on office space in it if I remember correctly.
