NINTENDO DROPPING THE NUKE retro bringing new metroid high chance

With dual screen gaming and the design philosophy Metroid is based on, they can make a game with two simultaneous point of views. The traditional side scrolling view, and the behind the visor first person view. The merging of both point of views could add a wealth of depth to gameplay and combat alike.

The Wii U is more than capable enough of producing an authentic deep space like atmosphere for the game. That feeling of isolation can be used as an angle to market the game. I feel that Prime 3 did an awesome job artwise in the way the different worlds were designed and felt.

I'm not saying the game should go blockbuster, but if the right features of the story and gameplay were put forward when advertising the game, it will have a broader appeal. Couple that with a competent and competition conducive multiplayer feature set, and I bet the game will become a smash hit within its time.

I'm not calling it a system seller, but its a franchise that Nintendo could use to push their presence among HD consoles beyond its fanbase.

If it's first person like the Prime games they better offer Wiimote+chuck controls.

Marketing and Wii U don't seem to mix well. I hope this one sells well.

I hope someone at Nintendo reads this.

Troll is right.
Metroid, like F-Zero isn't a big seller.

Metroid games sell enough to be relevant though.

In SA2, it's Super Sonic and Hyper Shadow.

As long as it doesn't require a wiimote I might pick up a Wii U for this.
