i always love games that are awesome when played with other people and online makes that extra special because i usually don't have people over to play games with...

it's not in 3D World and i gotta say having online co-op for that should be a no brainer

Platforming takes precise timing and speed.

Online gaming is not exactly ideal for platformers. I didn't hear people complain that Rayman Legends doesn't support online multiplayer.

The answer is "When MK8/SSB comes out."

Unless there is a way to communicate with each other then that'd be a bad idea. Have you played the New super Mario games? I can't think of playing those without the person(s) sitting next to me.

Online costs money for them to maintain, so to save money they don't include it.

This is exactly my reasoning. Greifers would endlessly kill themselves to make each other die and etc.

If you want, many third party games have online but if you want a first party game with it then yes.
