What do you think about DS games on Wii U?

They could put them on the eShop, or even release a dongle for the games to go into. 3DS games too. It seems an obvious thing to have on Wii U eventually, big announce at E3 maybe?

They might not want to mess with the portable sales, but it would be cool to have alongside all the Wii U, Wii, N64, SNES, and NES games. A DS menu, just like the Wii menu!

Internet?

If this happened, digital releases might be better. A 3DS adapter sounds rather cumbersome to me.

There's no mistaking it.

I think that every time someone brings up this incredibly stupid idea I have to point out that many DS titles only work with two screens because those screens are close together. Putting them across the room would create dissonance between the experience and your perceptions and therefore break the effect. It would not work.

Many DS games would be great to play on Wii U. Especially through a dongle. What else can I use the USB ports for?

Yeah, it would be cool. I'd love to play Kid Icarus Uprising or Animal Crossing New Leaf on the big screen. The only foreseeable problem I can think of would be the stretched resolution.

They could copy the VitaTV, it's obvious that people want devices like it.

Think of stuff like the DS Zelda games. The boss battles have the top screen and the bottom screen as two halves of the same view... it'd work terribly on Wii U. That might not stop them, though.

It would be almost the same as looking at the gamepad whilst playing a Wii U game.

Elite beat agents for WiiU.
Oh yeah!
