How far back do you go with Nintendo?

1991 when we got a NES, with Super Mario Bros and Super Mario Bros 3.
and then later bought Marble Madness, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: The Arcade Game, Double Dragon, and maybe something else. but those are what we played the most.

Dad had an NES and he'd bring his friends to watch me play.

Then I got a Gameboy in '95 ish (not bothering to really remember dates) and got Pokemon, got a Gameboy Color that Hanukkah when I was at Mewtwo and it blew my mind. Got an SNES after begging my parents once it was released, and the rest has been history.

Got a PS1 because I wanted a game that was like Final Fantasy (I didn't know the name back then since I was too young to care) and I got reunited to it with 4/Chrono Cross. Got a PS2 entirely because of Kingdom Hearts, and I'm glad I got into Nintendo and Sony. I really dislike Microsoft's practices.

So yeah. Unbiased opinions of Nintendo, and Sony because of Final Fantasy.

Since SNES. I was maybe 2 or 3 when we got it.

Since the NES days. I remember seeing the bundle that came with R.O.B. and wanting it so bad... but I received the one with Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt instead. For the longest time I only had Castlevania II and Bionic Commando as other games, and would trade them with people at school in order to play new ones.

I still want the R.O.B. just to play Gyromite; that game looked awesome. Dammit I'm 37, I should just go buy one off of EBay or something!

Either the original Gameboy (way after it first came out though) or N64

I played Donkey Kong in the Arcade before I had an NES.

I also owned an NES.

NES for me too, I believe it was somewhere around 1988.
