Bought a Wii U After Price Drop. I Think, I Screwed Up. Please Help!

Okay, so I bought a Wii U earlier today. I was very excited to legally play classic games. However, I purchased them on the Wii Virtual Console instead of Wii U Virtual Console! FML!
I didn't know the difference until it was too late and bought a bunch of games.
Will I still be able to re-buy them at $1 - $1.50 each on the Wii U Virtual Console? If so, how do I apply for the discount?

Please, help a newbie out.

The Wii U eShop automatically does the discount, all you really have to do is just buy the game.

Unfortunately, Wii VC games and Wii U VC games are separate. The only games you can transfer over for the discounted price are the ones that have been released on both Wii and Wii U virtual console. Check the Wii U eShop for any virtual console titles you downloaded on the Wii virtual console, and there will be an option on the game's page for re-downloading it at the discount price. For the games you've downloaded that have yet to be released on the Wii U virtual console, you'll just have to play them in Wii mode for now.

Look for the eShop icon on the bottom of the main Wii U screen (shopping bag). Tap on Virtual Console. There's about 40+ games that you can upgrade at the moment.

Here's the list of them, specifically:

If you've downloaded games other than these, you're out of luck. You'll have to play them in Wii mode, with the Wii remote or, for SNES and N64 games, the Classic Controller.
