I don't think a console has been more far behind than the Wii U for it's time.

-No universal account system
-no Ethernet port
-grossly underpowered
-OS is slower than last gen OS, including for the Wii
-barely any internal memory, must buy harddrive if you are a digital buyer.
-must buy traditional controller (does not come with it)
-Internet runs poorly and crashes

Oddly the Wii U is missing several things that were standards even last gen. Effectively in a lot of ways it's two gens behind. This must be some kind of record.

It was, until TC showed up.

While what you say is mostly true, by no means do you NEED a controller other than gamepad. I like it for every WU game I own.

^ That means they agree with you, TC.

But I have no idea what you're talking about... this system is THE future! What other console got rid of dopey-assed 'friend codes' before 2012, huh?

>_> Ooooooooh... never mind.

And yet it isn't suffering. It isn't making Nintendo hemorrhage like Sony and MS get to.

So, "far behind" is more like "slow and steady and not dying".

TC forgot that mention that Nintendo is missing "pay-to-play-online" services and costly Off-TV play, since those are the standard now according to him.
