GameCube games are going to be a nightmare when they come to Virtual Console

No, it's not the controller, it's the display. Two of the GameCube games I own, Star Fox Adventures and F-Zero GX, support both 4:3 and 16:9 display while majority of GameCube games only support 4:3 instead of also supporting 16:9 as well. Think Nintendo will do something about it or not?

Wii U puts all VC games in their original aspect ratio. They recently updated Wii mode to do this too. No more stretching.

Who cares? NES and SNES games only support 4:3. If we get GameCube games on Virtual Console, I'm perfectly fine playing them in their original aspect ratio, as long as they display in HD.

Not sure if it would be wise for forcing widescreen if the game wasn't designed for it. I think Wario World is one of those games that messes up when attempting it to force it that way.
