Is The W101 better than the demo?

Played the demo and while I did enjoy it to an extent, but the demo didn't exactly leave me excited. Is the full game worth a shot if i didn't love the demo?

I'd say so. The demo completely lacks in the story and characters department which are huge features of the game, and the gameplay and environment are very basic, being based on just the second mission. It opens up more as you go along and you gain new abilities and face more varied enemy types.

Had a Street Fighter signature for four years, but Crapcom doesn't deserve such recognition anymore.

Yes. Because the learning curve is steep but very rewarding. Reminds me of the SNES days where I had to get better at games.

The demo is good if you spend some time with it to learn the combat.

But like BeanBean said, it doesn't have any story elements and it doesn't even show any of the epic things in the game. The first boss fight alone is more epic than most games' final boss fights. And even the sub-bosses that you encounter before that are great compared to most games' bosses.

Also, if you do decide to get the game, definitely read this hint:
You don't start off with Unite Guts and Unite Spring in the full game. Buy them as soon as possible.

And Unite Guts can be used to block a lot of attacks. Usually not against attacks with sharp objects or from enemies that have gone berserk though. Anyhow, if try it out on a lot of enemy attacks. Jumping enemies, stomping enemies, enemies that try to run over you, enemies that shoot bullets at you, etc.

In SA2, it's Super Sonic and Hyper Shadow.
