Come on! It's at least close. FPA lonliness zombie apocalypse survival.
Really like your sig btw! Just srarted Xenoblade Chronicles recently.

Nah, I wouldn't say it's close at all. There's no ability-based progression system in ZombiU and it's much more linear in exploration than any Metroid game.

I hope you enjoy Xenoblade though. Along with Lufia 2, it's tied for my #1 RPG of all time.

In SA2, it's Super Sonic and Hyper Shadow.

Meh. I can see what you're saying, TC. You do unlock new items and abilities that allow you to progress through areas that were previously inaccessible. Also, there is a decent amount of backtracking to get items that you couldn't access the first time around due to limited equipment. So ZU definitely has Metroid elements.

Resident Evil, I guess you can compare by virtue of it being a creepy zombie game (I'm thinking REmake). Plus, traditional RE games had moderate Metroid elements anyway. Lots of cranks with geometrically shaped ends.

Thanks crowe_1, that's almost what I meant. Nit exactly Metroid or RE but has elements from both. A good enjoyable game btw for those who can tolerate the difficulty and few bugs.
