So how is Wind Waker HD?

That is a step backward, especially when the game was intentionally stripped of a dungeon or two, which they didn't put back in when they had the chance.

A number of dungeons designed for Wind Waker weren't used in the game and concept art from Hyrule Historia has shown Link standing on Stovepipe Island and GameCube Island. Some fans expressed a wish for these to be incorporated into Wind Waker Wii U but Aonuma has said they have already been used in other Zelda games.

Speaking with Eurogamer, Aonuma said: "Quite honestly, those dungeons we removed we used in other games, so we can't use them in this version!"

He added that he wouldn't have included them anyway as he wants Wind Waker Wii U to stay true to the original. "I've received many questions about additional content beyond what was in the GameCube version of the game, but our desire is to stay true of the story that was in the original," added the Zelda producer. "If we add dungeons then that will affect other parts of the GameCube version, which we really want to stay true to."

Then they should have made new ones.

Make the game worth the asking price?

It's not all about length. The actual GAME is much better. They just cut out padding.

Is padding a good thing now? You must hate LTTP.

The only reason the padding is there in the first place is because they cut dungeons to save time. They didn't put them back in, and they charged full price for the game.

Is charging full price for less game a good thing now?

Removing padding and speeding up animations does not make it less a game. You're so hung up on game time, that you're losing focus on what's important.

You know the gaming industry is **** when the biggest announcement is that a console can play used games and won't totally screw you over.

Dungeons. Of which there aren't enough of. Making the asking price a freaking joke.

That's just corporate shill and you know it. Of course they're gonna claim "they were used in later games" so they don't have to admit they couldn't be bothered to put the old ones back in.
