those are the games and series I have played. only NSMB2 is a rehash.

It's now apparent you have no idea what a rehash is.

You honestly think Mario Kart games are not qualified as "rehash" and only NSMB 2 is?

Also, just to let you know, MG2 is most certainly a rehash. The game was almost released and Miyamoto wanted to call the game "More Super Mario Galaxy."

LMAO still at Mario Kart games not being "rehash."

rehash - a reuse of old ideas without significant change or improvement

Super Mario Kart - original.
Mario Kart 64 - significant change; 3D tracks, more substantial drifting mechanics, two additional characters, better music.
Mario Kart Super Circuit - rehash; adds quick run, 5th cup, all SNES tracks.
Mario Kart Double Dash - significant change; vastly improved graphics, more substantial drifting mechanics than in the previous two games, adds mostly useless LAN play, 20 characters, brand new optional gameplay style, bomb-omb blast battle mode, new items.
Mario Kart DS - significant change; addition of retro cups, online racing, missions, additional kart statistics, Single-Player VS/battle, new items.
Mario Kart Wii - significant change; bikes, inside drifting, wheelies, new items, several control options including motion control, online battle mode, stand-still mini-turbo, tricks, tournaments, more characters, more vehicles, retro battle courses.
Mario Kart 7 - rehash?; adds paragliding, underwater driving, returning coins, customizable karts.

LMAO, "more substantial drifting" "significant change" "new item".

Do you even read what you post?

The list is full of rehashes.

Mario saves Peach from Bowser by breaking bricks, collecting coins, powerups, and making his way through side-scroller levels.

Which Mario game did I just describe?

No link. No surprise.
But then u think that GTA5 had more effort made in it than all Mario games combined... lol

Well, mini game in gta5 is better than most Nintendo games.
On/off road racing in gta5 >>>>>> mario kart
Flying a plane in gta 5 > pilot wings
Tennis >>> mario tennis
Etc...

Madworld is not a sonypony game. It's not on a pony console either.

Because, frankly, they do. Which is a shame because they have plenty of other more appealing IPs like Wavr Race, 1080 Snowboarding, Punch-Out, etc. they could bring back. However, they've mostly been making cartoon mascot games which we've seen a thousand times before. It's not refreshing anymore.

There's nothing with having cartoon mascot games, but when it makes up the majority of your upcoming titles, then there's a serious variety problem.

And yet... Nintendo has more variety than pony

Except they never use that variety. Instead we keep seeing more Mario, more Smash, more Zelda, and more Pokemon simply because it will sell.

Meanwhile, stuff like F-Zero or Star Fox gets left in the dust. So no, their variety is terrible.

And the only compelling new IP they have coming is X.

They still have more variety than pony.
