how pitiful

Those Vita numbers. Everyone was waiting for the new model like I thought. Poor Wii U. It needs those system sellers fast like Smash brothers. Too bad Nintendo didn't focus on that from the beginning and it will be out next year. >_>

It's funny, people say Vita has no games, yet defend a port to no end like MH3U, then hate on P4: Golden like its a direct, direct port. Hilarious irony.

Those are really depressing numbers. The only thing the Wii U is beating is its dead predecessor and a system that was never popular in that region to begin with. I REALLY hope Sonic and Mario kick start this thing.

If Platinum was HAND drawn, she'd be on paper, fool. This is a video game. They just made her on screen, no "drawing" involved -Delano7 on BlazBlue

That is Japan... Handhelds rule there, not consoles...

Lets look at globally... Last week there were almost 85000 Wii U's sold and around 270000 copies of Wind Waker HD were sold so not bad, Wii U was only 20k behind Xbox 360 so imagine when couple of more exclusives get out eg Sonic Lost World, Super Mario 3D World, Wii Fit U, Wii Sports U/HD, Mario and Sonic at Olyimpics Sochi 2013 or was it 2014(not sure about the name of that game), etc..
---
You are not a core gamer if restricted to handhelds/consoles from one company thus limiting amount of games, further by genre's and graphical style of the game.

That sounds about right. Those sales are Japan only. As for the Vita? Temporary sales spike before it tanks back to the bottom, calling it.

K let's look at global hardware sells sounds good.

Like you said

Wii U - 83,000

But what about

3DS - 204,000
PS3 - 151,000
360 - 105,000

Then there is fact that the numbers for Wii U are a temporary increase because of a LE Bundle.....
What were sales last week?

3DS - 218,000
PS3 - 205,000
360 - 120,000

Wii U - 43,000

What is this? Holy Batman xD Perhaps it's only a magical lucky Spike for 3DS/PS3/360 oh wait.... If you go back further all it does is stay steady. With Wii U flat lining.

In other words Japan pretty much reflects the entire world of gaming. Just a couple weeks early.

so how about that NDF? the past few weeks you were celebrating Wii U outselling Vita by only a few hundreds, I believe it was around 600 at the most

.....and now Vita outsells Wii U by THOUSANDS, around 56 thousands to be exact

if only someone was around to warn you that this was going to happen..... oh wait, I was, I was bringing up the upcoming new models all along!

get ready for a handheld only Nintendo!
