Can I sync my Wii U Gamepad with a different Wii U Console?

I won't get into to much detail but suffice it to say I have a Wii U Game Pad but no Wii U Console. Can I sync the Pad with a different Wii U or am I screwed?

Yes, but do note the Wii U doesn't support 2 gamepads on the same console

I heard it can, but at least for games.

No games use it yet though.

So I can sync as many Gamepads as I want but I can only use them 1 at a time?

It can't yet. I actually had two game pads a few months ago (faulty gamepad but still worked, got a replacement sent to me with a return box so i had both for a while)

In any event you can't sync a second at the same time. It drops the first if I recall, as soon as you type the four correct card symbols that you do during the initial sync.

To answer you though, you can sync it to another system, but it will drop the first one you sync'd.

I guess that's something. Look like I spent $300 to buy a replacement Gamepad, Power Supplies, and HDMI Cable. :(
