#1SkynetAppleMacPosted 10/30/2013 6:04:08 PM
how big is the file size usually for a eshop Wii U game? I am getting the 32 gig, would be nice to know how many games i could fit.

what is this first update brick thing i have heard about? and how do i avoid it?

Windwaker edition?

or

32gb Nintendo Land Edition?

Around < or = 2 gigs

From what I've heard, previous system updates should already be installed right out of the box.

WWHD bundle is the better deal from what I've heard,

I don't remember how long it took when I got my Wii U a couple weeks ago, just that it felt way too long. First I had to do an update before I could use the eShop, then the wait while the game downloaded and installed. I don't think it was really that long to download the game, but it felt like forever between when I got home with my new Wii U and I could finally play it.

This is the best "deal" of all. NSMB + LU is about $85 worth of gaming.

Zelda WW is good too though.

No worries though, the Wii U allows you to connect any powered hard drive for storage.

I grabbed an old 250GB computer drive that I put in a case and it works great.

If you plan on buying more than 2-3 full retail games digitally, you'll want an external hard drive. Some of them can be upwards of 15gb or more (you can see the list above).
