Sonic's 3d forays have all been mediocre affairs (including generations and colours) lost world is pretty much the same thing. Good enough to finish, not great enough to make you want to play again.

Wonderful 101: A game where you fight people with people.

I haven't completed the game yet, but I'd say it's enjoyable for the most part...until you run into levels with ridiculously frustrating elements that you just can't help but question why they were ever added in the first place. And the ice physics -- I LOATHE the ice physics in this game, they are horrendous. Definitely the worst part of the game, in my opinion. And just when I completed the ice zone and thought I'd be done with them forever, no! There's a level in the next zone with ice as well! There aren't enough swear words in the world to describe my rage when I encountered that.

Anyway, ranting aside, it's an okay game, but can get very frustrating at times and overall feels like a missed and occasionally poorly executed opportunity.

Also, in regards to the plot, I think it's entertaining enough. The Deadly Six are pretty mediocre villains, but Eggman's portrayal is pretty cool -- there was one scene in particular where I was a bit surprised at how violent and evil they made Eggman seem. He's definitely less goofy this time around.

The ice zone. That's what just killed the game for me. I thought the first act was awful but the second is just torture. It'll be a long time before I go back to the game and attempt that again.

But the thing that makes Woody special, is he'll never give up on you... ever. He'll be there for you, no matter what.

It's fairly good, but really short without a lot of extras. And the bosses are terrible, probably the worst bosses in a Sonic game ever.

As for the controls... remember that you can release the run button. Most people who complain about the controls don't realize that it makes some sections much more doable.

In SA2, it's Super Sonic and Hyper Shadow.

It depends which Sonic games you liked. If you liked the Genesis games then you should like it. One thing a lot of people have forgotten is that you couldn't speedrun the Genesis levels the first time, you had to know what was a good route to take and you had to know where you could take shortcuts. This game is much the same, but in 3D. Once you attempt the time trials you'll see the game has plenty of potential for speed.

Sonic Lost World is really good. Not quite as good as Sonic Colors, but very cool.
