Nintendo is almost getting there with WiiU

I think they did a great job by showing off Smash Brothers and Mario Kart 8, but I actually want to see more progress from here on. Bayonetta 2 has been way too quiet as of late and that's not a good sign. I can feel the momentum they are building up, but they need to keep pushing forward. I'm almost this close to head out and buy a WiiU. Water is about to boil.

You should buy a Zelda edition one while they are still available.

I refuse to believe that Nintendo needs to release their games on other platforms in order to survive. Sega, yea, but Nintendo is just not right.

You misread my post. I did not say the Wii U was going to die. I simply stated the Zelda bundle will not be available soon due to limited production.

gx sold around 500k copies so they're not really gonna get anywhere with it either

Still better than Wonderful 101, so I think they could justify it at least by comparison.

I think the launch of other video game systems is also good for us - Iwata of Nintendo
the playstation 2 sure helped dreamcast - magemaximus

They missed their chance. F-Zero would have been the perfect launch titles (as most racing games are as they show off graphics and FPS). With more and more games coming out F-Zero is less likely to grab people's attention.

Eh, still. When GX was out the GC had around 10 million or so consoles. If it was released right now, it would sell -much- worse, I'd wager. Might have sold a lot if it was a launch title though since it'd be one of a few games Nintendo releases for the next year.
