Would be interesting, could imagine it being either the same as a 360 version or in between the 7th and 8th gen versions.

If true, I imagine Minecraft won't matter anymore ...unlike when it wasn't on the system.

Honestly even owning the 360 version, there isn't much a reason to buy them on the consoe aside from:

1. Not having to buy or mess with servers

2. Skin and Texture Packs for those that don't know how to use them on PC or again those that harte maintaining servers

3. The few exclusive things for console version

Stylus controls for Minecraft would be a plus over other console versions. At least there's that.

I think the launch of other video game systems is also good for us - Iwata of Nintendo
the playstation 2 sure helped dreamcast - magemaximus

If there is a person at this point that hasn't played Minecraft then it would be good for them. That said, I already have it for the 360 and PC. The only reason I would possibly get it is if they somehow ended up with official Nintendo skins.

Not really, while I wouldn't argue it if the 360 had the old PC crafting system, it actually has a great crafting system. Unless the Wii U version allows to use the classic crafting table as an option.

You'd be surprised my brothers had access to free Minecraft on our computer and still bought the 360 version.
Though the Wii U version could maybe put the Gamepad to some use.

Minecraft for wii u would also have free online.
Compared to the servers on pc and Xbox love cost woul be a plus in my book.

Not a bad idea actually

CONFIRMATION: I wouldn't care.

The claim: I play what's fun.
The truth: Video games aren't entertaining enough, I must chide others for choosing to play something I won't.
