Is Dr. Luigi worth it if I never played Dr. Mario?

I have seriously never played a Dr. Mario game.

These are my only experiences with this game...

Trying out the original NES game with "the unmentionable method"
Virus Buster from Brain Age

That's it...

The game does interest me, there's three modes (including virus buster itself) and an online mode.

Online mode will be great since I almost never have anyone to play with and most likely, nobody is going to play a game like this with me.

Dr. Mario has always been a puzzle game that caught my interest mostly because it's kind of like a mix between tetris and puyo puyo. I liked tetris, but it's too simplistic, I like puyo puyo, but it's way too complex. Dr. Mario looks to be a balance between the two, not to mention that it just looks fun to begin with.

It's a game to play with the gf until she beats you all the time.

Sure, give it a try. $15 isn't that much
