Nintendo could buy Capcom as easily as you can buy a Big Mac...

So why don't they?

Capcom, a struggling game publisher, run by absolute morons at this current time, has around 152 million net worth, less than that of Kurt Cobains estate ( a guy that was famous for about 2 years of his life circa 1992 to 1994 upon his death) thats in his 21 year old daughters name (170 million); makers and destroyers of great game IP's due to their incompetence; meanwhile Nintendo, a multi billion dollar company just sits there and watches them eat themselves...

Also I'm sure they could easily buy SNK Playmore as well

So what gives? They buy Monolith and Rare so why not these companies?

Maybe because Capcom doesn't want to be purchased.

If they could, then they would own Capcom now. So obviously, Nintendo can't buy Capcom that easily.

I'm going to go on a huge limb here and think you have a car and house. Nintendo could afford those too. Here's the deal though, you have to be willing to sell your crap.

I got in trouble on Gamefaqs for the word "cracker". It was bad enough to put me on probation

Are you sure? How do we know offers were made?

Just because you want to buy a company doesn't mean you can.

The news about Capcom being in serious financial trouble was some time ago. During that time, sellers such as Monster Hunter 4 have been released, so who knows if they're improved or not. I reckon an update on their situation is in order.

7 is good. I swear the school's 75-100 grading scale has ruined peoples perception of things.

Idoubt nintendo would buy them, but they may force them into a contract that gives nintendo exclusivity over their IPs.

With Monster Hunter on there side, along with Resident Evil which will still well even after the Resi 6 fiasco, Capcom ain't going under any time soon.
