I know we will be seeing smash and mario kart and MAYBE Zelda. But what about their other franchises, such as animal crossing, starfish and other mario games? Will they stop developing these games for the wii u?

Thanks guys

If sales doesn't improve they will have to drop wii u. Japan weekly sales just got released today and wii u only sold 13k while vita sold 26k and PS3 outselling Wii U. Wii U is already in trouble and if sales doesn't improve soon share holders will force Nintendo to drop Wii U.

No, and you're an idiot if you actually believe this. Think of Sega doing this and you'll know how doing that would literally kill Nintendo.

Did they drop the N64 or the GameCube.

There's your answer.

Doubt it and I hope not, don't want to go through another Dreamcast situation (though the Dreamcast had a lot more games considering)

Both of those got around 4-5 years of Nintendo releases.

Which is about the lifespan of a Nintendo console.
