Wouldn't surprise me.

Did anyone aside from me buy AC4 on WiiU?

Sad but not surprising at all. No sane publisher will support Wii U at this point unless it's a quick, easy port of a last-gen game

makes sense. this would probably be the lowest selling version

Random rumor, no source, nonsense.

Only trolls would think this was true

This would suck considering I was actually planning on buying this for the Wii U. Assassin's Creed probably didn't sell well, but that's kinda what you get when you release the... what... 6th installment on a console that has never seen an entry before?

I'm a living contradiction. I own a PS3 and a Wii U. A 3DS and a Vita. And the catch to that? I enjoy them all!

The money is already invested into making a port, you're going to lose money whether you bring it out or cancel it.

The PR damage you get from cancelling a game that's ready is far more than taking up retail space or being on eShop.

And the worse version even compare to PS3 and 360.

They might lose less if they cancel it now, instead of wasting another couple months of development time, production, etc.

I'm not saying this rumor is true, or that they would lose less by canceling it, but with how poor other 3rd party games have sold, there isnt a terribly large upside to releasing it.
