If Nintendo fails, then I want the whole industry to crash.

It's not fair to Nintendo, to get treated as a laughing stock by the whole industry. It burned me so bad when Mark Rein and alot of other devs just laughed in the face of Nintendo at last years GDC. I hope the Wii U will catch wild fire and then who will be the ones laughing....

That's a very selfish and nihilistic thing to say.

It's kinda nintendos fault... BUT, not all of it. They're trying but they need to do stuff like an account. System, work on more games, get more support etc. people need to stop bashing them and actually try it. They might like it.

Except that the entire industry would continue to thrive like Nintendo never existed... but carry on.

at this rate, Wii U is done. 0 3rd party games and 3-4 1st party games each year? who's going to buy console like that?

Good thing what you want wouldnt happen then, things would go on without them, just like it did before, and they would either become a 3rd party, or come back later (like they did with the Wii).

I was going to say 'N64,' but even that had more third party support than Wii U's future lineup.

The only good thing that would come from nintendo exiting the videgame industry would be that everyone here would finally stfu and move on to hating the next thing.

I agree with this.

Devs disrespecting Nintendo is kind of like a Metal band disrespecting Black Sabbath.

Where do you think the industry would be without them? Despite their slump, they are the most important company in gaming history.

O.o what I don't even....Just how dare you, how freaking dare you. If you knew anything about the industry then you'd know it's the industry that thrives on Nintendo's innovations that Sony and MS have to copy just to stay relevant. Who is the industry leader? Hmmmm, yea thought so. And my fellow brethren will attest to this....
