What's the best deal you ever got on a video game?

I picked up Kirby: Return to Dreamland for $10 and Starfox 3D for $3 at the same yard sale. That GI was a gold mine. I also took advantage of the Fire Emblem: Awakening sale for $15 at Best Buy this past December. I bought two copies.

What are some deals you've gotten for video games?

I once purchased Resident Evil DS a few months after it first came out for $25. I then sold it a month later on eBay for $39. Net profit = $14 lol

I just bought Link's Crossbow Training for $0.49 at GameStop. I've never bought a game for under a buck. The games is also pretty good.

I bought a couple of Wii games for under $3 at Gamestop. Most of them sucked but there were a few awesome ones.

I can't think of a deal on an actual video game... But I did get the Darklight Crypt Spyros Adventure pack at Walmart a month before Swap Force came out for only $15... Whereas people charge like $30-$50 for the set (used) online...

Tons, all the time. At the moment I'm ploughing through the Wii library picking up games as and when; last month got Trauma Center, Day of Disaster, Conduit (disc only), Battlion Wars 2, Geometry Wars Galaxies, Sim City Creator, Star Trek Conquest, Arc Rise Fantasia and one of the Rune Factory games all for 35 via a collection only eBay listing that I won.

I never got what happens if someone breaks the releases. Do they get some sort of penalty?
