just got a WiiU. is it me or do my Wii games look better on WiiU?

Most SDTVs don't have HDMI ports. So you may have to buy separate cables (component is better).

Or get an HDTV. They're cheap nowadays.

The Wii's composite cables will work with the Wii U.
