Next Nintendo Console?

When the next iteration of Nintendo's console is released how weary will third party developers be in regards to making new games on the new platform?

The same as it's always been post 64 - very.

If the "QoL" console sells well, then expect a new level of Wii-like minigame shovelware to capitalize on the craze, then run dry when the consumer base moves on to the next "QoL" fad product. Seems like Nintendo brings in their fad gimmick years too late. Wii U's gamefad is a "tablet-like" device that's non-portable, which renders it's gimmick ineffective from the start.

Well we have no idea what QoL is going to really be aside from it being a non-wearable fitness thing so maybe lets not wildly speculate on how it'll sell let alone how it'll make third parties make minigame shovelware collections for it.

Depends on what Nintendo does for the rest of this gen, the beginning of the 9th gen, how they set the system up.

Long story short, we don't have a f***ing clue.

Assuming its a console and assuming you know anything about it.

Apparently if it has a screen on it, its a tablet. Because screw thinking.

It will be called "The Nintendo Us". That's right, "US". They completely dropped the "wii" monicker and decided to focus on "us". I hope that means we'll see more North American releases too. (wink, wink)

It's gonna be the same old story. Nintendo should just cut their losses and push the Wii U as much as they can. Cause the 3rd party ship left their shores generations ago.
