How would you feel about Nintendo collaborating with other devs on Nintendo IPs?

Its been a mixed bag.

Great examples:
Zelda Ages/Seasons/Minish Cap (Capcom)
F-zero GX (Sega)
Metroid Prime (Retro. Though I didn't like this series)

Questionable Examples:
Metroid Other M (Team Ninja)
Star Fox Assault (Namco, thought he arwing missions were fantastic)

to the Great Examples list, i would add:
Mario RPG: Squaresoft

To those that mentioned Retro, they don't count as they ARE Nintendo.
Have to own a system to not say anything good about it. But to call it bad and attack its fans? Don't even need to try it. That's DoubleStandardsFAQs

Look at the Gamecube, TC. That would be your outcome. Some good, some bad. But even some of Nintendo's own 1st party wasn't very good.

I wouldn't mind Namco doing Star Fox again if they stuck exclusively do Arwing and Landmaster Missions. Although I'd also love to see more openness in the game worlds. Think Starfox meets Rogue Squadron. Huge maps with objectives to reach, secrets to find, bosses to fight.

Oh my.

I don't care who's making the games as long as they turn out good that's what matters.
