Will GBA games be playable on both the gamepad AND TV?

And how will it look? If gamepad, understandably it'd look fine, but if it plays on 1080p TV's, won't the upscaling make things look questionable?

It'll look as good as it can look, one would assume.

The GBA's display is only 240x192 and there's only so much you can do with that. They might do what they've done in the past with the Super Gameboy/GBA Player and have a reduced view area to make it less visually silly than it would be at full screen with a lot of pixel doubling.

Yeah, you can play it on both.

As for your concerns about playing it on the TV, GBA games looked fine blown up with the GC's GBA Player, so I'm sure it'll look fine here.

How do SNES VC games look on the Wii U? I would guess GBA games will look incredibly similar to those.
