Most of these games are games I've never played but would like to.

I recently got a classic controller so I've been itching to use it.

SMRPG is one I own and have beaten a million times but my battery recently died.

I'll choose the 3 most popular from this poll unless you guys and gals make good argument

Rondo of Blood is awesome as ><><>

Likely going to be the only one who votes Ys.

It is old, and plays old, but it is so fulfilling. Give it a go, or at least Steam the remake someday,

Yeah, I'd buy the remake of Ys on PC if I were you
I voted for Majora's Mask

Super Mario RPG is golden-era-Square's signature quality mixed with Nintendo's flavor and polish. passing it up would be criminal.

EDIT: oops, noticed you've already played it, so you know why it's great.

as a bonus recommendation, the Genesis version of Strider is one of the best action/hack-and-slash sidescrollers you can come across. it's sad how popular the NES version is, because the arcade version is infinitely superior and the Genesis version, like most Genesis titles, comes the closest a home console can to the arcade style.

I plan on getting the second one. Would it be a better idea to just get the second or stick with the first?

Awesome as fish? I have PSP version but I heard that one still wasn't as good.

I had questions about that. I didn't know if it was the "old school" versions where you don't even see the sword swing

Both are great since star succesor is a sequel, you should learn more about the sequel if you play the first one, I recommend get both
