Anybody can point me some decent third party GC controller? I bought one at GS along with my wii but it died after 3 games. I want to get one that can at least hold decent time before it dies :(

You really should consider the official one, I mean.... Its expensive. But controllers this gen are $60. And if you plan on continuing to use it for years to come, you really don't wanna be stuck with cheap third party junk. Learned that one with the 64.

The wavebird is available still even, but for $180. Man oh man. Glad I have 4 of them.

I don't use GC function that often. I have only 2 games right now for GC and spending 180 to play those 2 games from time to time sounds like overkill O_o

The one I linked is only $50.

But yeah, if you're not putting in the hours, or you're not going to come back to it years later.

Still, the official GCN controller is a beautiful thing.
They're quite viable used, even cheap. But... There's just not the quality assurance unless you get to see them in person.

I bought a couple of unofficial controllers once because they were cheap. Both of them stopped working in less than a month.

They are expensive, but the official ones are definitely worth it.

Yeah, that's a problem games had back then. You actually had to get good at them. - Mctias

Buying used controllers isn't bad sometimes. Though, you shouldn't online, because you never know what you'll get.

I've bought like 3 or 4 different controllers (PS2, GameCube, etc) from Goodwill and other Thrift Stores for like $4 that work perfectly. Just make sure you feel the controllers and look for signs of wear.
