It's a shame the Wii U is still losing support. That being said though, I don't play CoD nor plan to purchase this entry on any platform. I'd hope that Activision would give each console owner the option to purchase it though. I can see why they wouldn't if the profit potential wasn't there.

Oh well. Mario Kart 8 info has me too hyped to be down! ^_^

That's cool, I don't plan on buying another CoD game until Treyarchs next release.

Nobody bought BO2 or Ghosts on WiiU, it shouldn't be a suprise they don't want to lose more money.

I think the idea of a Call of Duty game that's restricted to PS4, Xbox One and PC is very plausible, but only in the context of it being one of two CoD games this year, with the other being on PS3 and Xbox 360. This is the model that Ubisoft are (almost certainly) following with Assassin's Creed and I think it makes sense - it allows one developer team to cut loose on newer, more powerful hardware, while still creating something for the masses of people still on older hardware (and keeping the brand name alive for those people as well). It also means that a few people will double-dip.

It can't only be Ubisoft that have recognised that multitude of advantages - Activision and others probably have as well.

If this is the case, then the question isn't whether the Wii U will get the same game as the PS4 and Xbox One (because it won't), but whether it'll get the same game as the PS3 and Xbox 360.
