How close is the Wii U to death If Smash and Mario Kart fail to change the tide?

Worse off than Vita, I think.

Aren't people kind of... crazy about Smash Bros? The series has like a fanatical following, with people going ape-poop over every little detail that Sakurai reveals. I think it will provide plenty of Wii U sales.

Wii U is neither. It's Tupac.

It's going to need a 1up if these games don't change the tide.

I support my favorite Nintendo Starlets: Pauline, Palutena, Anna, Captain Syrup, and also Shantae, and Bayonetta for Smash Bros Wii U/3ds.

I hope the next hardware revision features a hologram!

Most likely they will shift focus to their next system because Nintendo doesn't like throwing millions down the drain on game development that makes no profit.

Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros. both have fanatical followings. Those two games should easily push the Wii U over the 10 million unit mark.
