Spyro's brand name was in the toilet before Skylanders, and Disney sold DI on brand name alone. Why wouldn't Nintendo be expected to do the same? Sure, they're probably entering the game too little, too late, but if a nothing like Spyro can do it, why can't Nintendo?

both those two sold the best on nintendo systems, it's no wonder they want to try themselves

It is a remake, not my fault you people think ports are remakes (but only on Nintendo systems)-Demondog666

Honestly, along with NFC figures, there should be a toy line by co-oping with Namco-Bandai. It'd be pretty cool to have some toys released alongside game releases as part of advertisement.

Nintendo will probably set up an online shop on their website to cover this. At least I'd think so.

Sigh...just when I thought Nintendo couldn't get any kiddy-er. I guess its reassuring to know kids still rather play with plastic crap rather than get high and bang each other at least

You just can't see how it works... Go to Walmart. Wait in the aisle that has Disney Infinity and Skylanders toys. Lo and behold kids buy them, incredible, I know, kids buying toys. They get to play with those toys in digital form. Wow. Such play. Many loss of imaginations. Essentially it's the video game form of what we all used to do with our toys.
