Only 3 WiiU and 4 Vita games in the top 100 most popular games on this site

It's safe to say that the Vita is doing nowhere near as good as the 3DS and conversely the WiiU is simply not on par with the PS4.
With major WiiU games like Smash being also available on the 3DS, what exactly is the point of owning a WiiU again?
Likewise, why bother with the Vita when most if its good games are essentially ports or watered down spin-offs of PS3/PS4 titles?

Wouldn't it be better if Sony just focused on consoles and Nintendo on handleds instead of attempting to do both? I don't see why both Sony and Nintendo are trying to be jack of all trades and master of none when they could just focus on what they're good at.

nintendo consoles usually ahve cool controls if the next console they did pairs up with the handheld instead of this that'd be pretty cool, hopefully 1080p graphics and cpu would be cheap by then...

also the vita is big in japan
i feel like owning a 3ds in america kinda sucks we don't get nearly as many games as they do, it was the same way with the popular wii too

Honestly if you go by hardware itself, the Vita is great tech, it just doesn't have as many good games. Thing is though, Nintendo builds their hardware specifically for their software, so Nintendo's hardware sales are irrelevant because they are still not dropping out of that buisness anyways.

I could easily argue that both the Vita and the Ps4 are better hardware, but does that mean Nintendo should drop out? That's the question many people ask often, but people really the answer is obvious as day. Nintendo isn't going anywhere, regardless of if their sales are bad or good.

And those three Wii U games are higher than any PS4 or Xbox One game.

And isn't the popularity decided by the message boards?

No, clearly Sony and Nintendo should stop making handhelds and consoles respectively because of that.

So your point was...?

i don't get it, you say the Vita games are obsolete because they're gonna be less advanced than their same versions on PS4...

but then you say there's no reason to own Smash on WiiU even though the 3DS version has massively gimped graphics and can no longer be played as a party game on handheld (which is its most significant role as a game)?

double standards are fun!
