Does it annoy you when people pronounce Mario as Mare-E-oh?

It drives me nuts!

I'd rather it be "MAR-E-OH"

What about you?
Is there other nintendo related things that you hear mispronounced?
My "NEW" favorite sig!

Not really, all the countries has different phonetic with the letters, principally the vocals

I mean the english, french and i think the german too share the same phonetic with the vocals: Ei (A), Ee (E), I, Ou (O) and You (U)

Meanwhile the spanish, portuguese, italian and even the japanese share the same phonetic with the vocals: A (ah), E (eh), I (ih), O (oh) and U (uh)

Since Mario comes from Italy, the pronunciation must be in the italian form but that its so optional that in my opinion it's not annoy me when its pronounced different (even Mario pronounced his own name in different phonetic all the time)
