$10/mo unlimited access to all of the NES and SNES classics
$12/mo adds in GB, GBC and GBA, DS
$15/mo adds in n64. GC, Wii

Pricing per month goes down for multi month subscriptions. All digital content period can be played on the Wii U and all hand held content runs on the 3DS. Games can be downloaded as long as a subscription is maintained; all digital purchase are also account linked not hardware linked.

New online Nintendo profile with unlockables and various other social media stuff that links in with the 3DS and Wii U.

Unlimited online potential that Nintendo never bothers with.

And ppl would complain that they have to pay at all.

That's $180 a year and it effects your 3DS as well. You can't give access to what doesn't exist. Nintendo doesn't control if the WiiU gets current gen games, besides vetoing them; that's all third party.

Club Nintendo legally excludes half their consumer base by limiting it to US, Canada, Europe and Japan.

PS+ doesn't.

All right, so Nintendo does not have anything to get games here and there for a bargain.

No point getting a Wii U if all I am going to play is the new Mario Kart :(

As others have stated, between eShop sales & deals, the Digital Deluxe Program, and Club Nintendo there's plenty of bargains to be had on the both the 3DS and the Wii U. The thing about Club Nintendo that's great is if you see some awesome sales at retail that are selling new games for $5 a pop and they have CN codes in them, you get the same amount of CN Coins regardless. Also all games recieved from the awards system give post play surveys on CN which give more coins in CN. It's a very easy system to exploit.

The DDP also works the same, you buy eShop cards for 20% off at Best Buy or Target they way they've had their promotions before, meaning you buy the $50 cards for $40, you still get $50 in the wallet and all of that still counts towards the DDP if it's spent on the Wii U, so does any money you earn off the DDP or get from any other Nintendo promotions and is spent on the Wii U.

It's not the "instant" gratification of PS+ but if you take advantage of it, you'll make your own library grow very quickly the same way XBLG, PS+ and Steam all do. It doesn't require a subscription, the games you get aren't bound to a subscription, and it actually heavily rewards you for getting good deals at retail. It's different but not a bad deal.

No. PS+ is Sony's payed service that further deepens sales on PSN, allows access to games at no additional cost, adds 3gb of cloud storage, and access to PS4's online. Also the 1 sub works across all their platforms.

Where can I check the Nintendo store online if I do not have a Wii U ?

Something like :

http://store.steampowered.com/

https://store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/

Edit : A place where actual game prices are mentioned, with sales.

Unfortunately, no. I believe they used to but since they redid the site I don't see it anywhere. When they got special deals and promotions going on you can find them here.

As for the games the list can be found here:

As I said, they used to list it, apparently not anymore.

Oh well. I think I'll stick to Steam, PlayStation and Xbox for the time being.

Thanks anyway.
