No, they're toys you can train to fight for you.

In SA2, it's Super Sonic and Hyper Shadow.

So they come packaged in with the game at no extra cost?

Basically they are the closest your going to get to owning and training your own pokemon.
I don't need this on a sunday morning ... thank God it's wednesday

No, it's like a toy that is based on the game that you can also use in the game. You don't lose out on any content. It would be dumb if you count all those COD figurines as dlc. lol

DLC implies some sort of expansion to the regular game... this is really more of it's own thing. It doesn't really expand the content of the game as much as it allows you to compete with friends in new ways. And if amiibos are cross-compatible with other games, it's even more unique.

It's like calling the Captain Toad game "Super Mario 3D World DLC in disc form"... doesn't really suit what's implied by DLC, which is augmenting the original.

It's basically cross-game DLC yes.

It's like an expanded version of a feature from a 14 year old game. In plastic form. To imply that something that was a series staple before Nintendo Consoles had DLC worldwide is ridiculous and is also a very poor attempt at trollism.
If people want the Wii U Cheaper, and the cost of the White model is already the price of the 3DS XL, are they saying they want it the same price as a 3DS?

How does it work when i saw the digital conference, Iwata was losing to reggie. Then iwata used the amiibo figurine to beat him. How did it beat him? does it read the other players moves and learn?
