Lack of Xenoblade and Metroid Prime Trilogy --- Used GameFAQs for ages, finally made another account after 6 years. Currently playing: Darksiders II (Wii U) and Kid Icarus: Uprising (3DS) NNID:Granadico
Xenoblade looks like **** on Wii U. Granted it was already not a pretty game on the Wii. Metroid Prime Trilogy looks great. --- Nintendo Fanboy - One who obsesses over or worships Nintendo, like it was his God or Religion/Someone who defends Nintendo as if it was his girlfriend.
Which stage in metriod prime trilogy looks best. I wasn't seeing it.
MP3 looks the best, since it's the latest one, so I guess I'm basing it on that. --- Nintendo Fanboy - One who obsesses over or worships Nintendo, like it was his God or Religion/Someone who defends Nintendo as if it was his girlfriend.
A lot of these games do no look good on the U. I know, Ive played many of them in Wii mode. The problem is they are low resolution games. When you play these games on an HDTV they are going to look worse than you remember them because they are being scaled up to all hell.
The most recent of these games Ive played on the U, Skyward Sword looked awful. But mind you I felt that game looked terrible on the Wii. The art direction was fine but the graphical quality was so bad, and its even worse on the U.
With Wii games I think they appeal to people because of the motion gameplay, not anything to do with their visuals. I dont remember a single Wii game blowing me away visually.
