Pac-Man is probably the most uninspired character

That doesn't even make sense.

He is uninspired, though. He provided inspiration for countless others, but he himself was contrived from pure imagination.

.....

eh, Snake in Brawl was more questionable (especially considering that the then upcoming MGS4 was being hailed as PS3's "system seller")

Hard to make a super amazing looking character when gaming just got on its feet and the games looked like this:

I'm not getting sakuari's thoughts. "Incomplete pizza" I guese he's talking about his 8 bit sprite look. But didn't they know he had a different look back in the snes days (which is the look there using for smash).

Another reason I'm glad Miyamoto never left Nintendo. He's still got it after all these years.

I think you misread his post, he was complimenting Pac Man

Well, that's surprising. I always thought Pacman was only ever considered because of the partnership with Namco.

Except he's not uninspired. It was very hard back then to give a game character 'character'. And Pac-Man had loads of it. If they Pac-Man with a character that looked different, it probably wouldn't even have become a popular game.

In SA2, it's Super Sonic and Hyper Shadow.

Well, he's giving double negatives.

He used contrived in the same sentence as pure imagination in a topic about inspiration.

This game is epic because Mario, Sonic, Mega Man and Pacman will fight each other, for those who are too young doesn't understand why is a huge deal having him on the roaster
