Now do you believe there is no "Anti-Nintendo" bias/conspiracy in the industry?

Namco-Bandai, a company that has clearly been on good terms with Nintendo, has opted to delay Project Cars on Wii U. This is proof that companies aren't spiting Nintendo because of some ludicrous bias, but because of a clear financial disincentive.

Or if you think Slightly Mad studios was responsible, the company has been nothing but supportive to Nintendo over the past year. They aren't trying to spite Nintendo or the Wii U, it just makes financial sense to delay it.

What's the financial sense? Explain how it's financially sound to delay 1 version of a game when said game has been in development longer than the Xbox One and PS4 versions.

Why should we listen to a dumb ass troll who doesn't even like nintendo in the first place?

The game has been in development for PC for a long time, and the PS4 and XBone have a very similar architecture to the PC. It makes the port easier, and they will almost certainly see a better return on their investment on PS4 and XBone compared to the Wii U. It makes perfect financial sense to invest in the consoles that will put you in a better position to succeed.

Why should we listen to every drone who whines about his precious Nintendo not getting a fair shake?

You're confusing indifference with an actual desire for the console to fail.

People who are indifferent don't spend all their time on a product-specific board talking about how something is going to fail.

1. The PS4 and XB1 are selling much better than the Wii U. In the country where racing games tend to do best, the United States, their install bases are higher
2. Realistic racing sims have sold horribly on Wii U in the past.

So these would highly encourage the publisher to slow down the production of the Wii U version and instead devote resources to the PS4 and XB1 versions. This is especially true because the Wii U hardware is so different and therefore requires more independent attention.

And then
3. It is expected for Wii U sales to rise dramatically this Winter due to Smash Bros. Coming out around the same time would see fierce competition, and for a smaller install base than in early 2015. The games coming out this year will also likely increase the base of people on the Wii U who would be interested in Project Cars.

You're confusing members of those board with the companies who make the decisions.

Question is, how many million sellers do all 3 current gen consoles have? I would guess it goes Wii U, PS4 then Xbone tbqh.

And if that's the case, then something else is going on..

But the problem with that train of thought is most people who project cars will appeal to have one of the other systems, or a PC that can play it months prior, and have no incentive to wait to buy it on the Wii U.

IMO if the Wii U is going to get a late port there is no reason to even bother(unless its heavily discounted which they never are) as its already on clearance sale on one other platforms which 95% of Wii U owners own which cut into sales

But what about the distribution costs. It's all well and good about porting the game because the architecture is similar, but Namco will be paying twice to ship all versions to stores.
Project Cars will also be competing with Forza Horizon 2 on the Xbox One while on the WiiU it wont have a competitor.

I'm sorry, but i just dont see where the financial sense is in delaying 1 version unless that one version is going to be getting work done to it.

And that's another story that may be behind the delay. Maybe part of Namco's deal was they would be the publisher so long as the other versions were looked after first.
